Description

The Gabbiani ST is a single-blade beam saw run by PC/PLC, suited to companies looking for a fast, simple workflow. It cuts panels or stacks of panels in timber and wood-based materials (particleboard, MDF, multi-layer, plywood, fibreboard). The selective air cushion, which can be switched on table by table thanks to independent motors, provides glide only where it is needed and prevents already-cut panels waiting on the table from falling. The Saw-set device sets the tools electronically in a matter of seconds. The loading platform, driven by four trapezoidal screws, guarantees parallel lifting of the stacks whatever their size. The Maestro active cut software, with its customisable interface, manages the material and offcut stores as well as the movement of parts during machining. Blade projection is 115 mm, the main blade 400 mm and the scorer 160 mm.
