Description
The Oikos X+ is a six-axis CNC machining centre designed for intensive production of straight beams in solid timber and glulam, with maximum sections of 1250 x 300 mm, used for roofs and for residential or public buildings. It carries over the features of the Oikos X and adds an independent five-axis saw unit integrated into the main operating unit. Fitted with a 900 mm diameter blade, this unit delivers a cutting depth of up to 300 mm, even on large beams. The layout of the units and the tool magazine allows tool changes in masked time, which raises output. It handles lengths from 9 to 19 m and weights of up to 4000 kg, with power from 13 to 25 kW.
