SEMA 3D Structural Model Bars and Nodes Module

Description

This add-on extracts from a SEMA 3D model the axes and nodes needed for structural calculation, and builds a wireframe bar-and-node model from them. Before export, the user goes over this model and adjusts the members kept, so as to hand the calculation a pared-down representation rather than the full geometry of the structure. The model then goes to external structural calculation programs, in various formats intended for them: the module prepares and exports the data, the structural check itself remaining the responsibility of the calculation tool and its user. This step does away with rebuilding the calculation model by hand from the drawings. The module covers roofing work, timber and prefabricated construction, refurbishment and structural analysis, and is offered as an option on all four SEMA packages.
