SEMA Structural Calculation Interface Module

Description

This add-on links the SEMA program to an existing structural calculation package, in this case MDBat. It does not carry out the structural check itself: it passes the design data to the calculation tool, which assumes that software and its licence are already in place. The benefit lies in the continuity of the design chain, as the geometry and load-bearing members entered in SEMA no longer have to be re-entered in the calculation application, with the discrepancies that double entry brings. The module is aimed at roofing work, timber and prefabricated construction, refurbishment and structural analysis, and concerns the firm checking its own structures as much as the design office taking over a file. It is offered as an option on all four SEMA packages, in eight languages including French.
