Description

SWOOD is a computer-aided design and manufacturing solution integrated into SOLIDWORKS and dedicated to the wood industry. The suite covers three complementary stages: parametric 3D design, manufacturing and automation, with continuous transfer of information from one phase to the next. It supports furniture manufacturers, interior fit-out, objects and timber construction. Trade rules and models are centralised in reusable libraries, while machining built in from the design stage makes every project more reliable. Post-processors developed in-house ensure compatibility with woodworking CNC machines. The offer is split into modules — design, CAM, nesting, automation and timber framing — to cover the entire production process, from the drawing office through to the workshop.
