Tecnaria CTL MAXI timber-concrete connector

Description

The Tecnaria CTL MAXI timber-concrete connector strengthens and stiffens existing timber floors by forming a composite concrete slab. The CTL MAXI consists of a 50×75 mm base plate 4 mm thick, moulded with teeth, a Ø 12 mm cold-assembled steel stud and two Ø 10 mm coach screws (lengths 100, 120 or 140 mm) passing through the plate. Screwed through the decking into the joists, the CTL MAXI ties the old timber structure to the slab poured over it; its parts are electrolytically galvanised (8 µm, 2 Kesternich cycles) and the assembly is CE certified. The characteristic resistance Fv,Rk of the CTL MAXI reaches up to 24.5 kN depending on the thickness of the decking and the timber class, the minimum timber class required being C16, GL24 or D30. The CTL MAXI comes in several heights (from 20 to 200 mm) to suit the intended slab thickness.
