Description

The TRC Preclean automates the pre-cleaning of wood surfaces ahead of defect repair. Before the defective areas are filled, the raw boards are prepared: cracks and similar defects are cleared out, and knot holes are freed of bark inclusions and soft parts. Thanks to optimised alternating machining on two clamping tables, secondary operations such as loading, unloading, scanning and assessment run in parallel with the cleaning of the defect areas, which increases productivity. The plant can be extended modularly and can process boards and panels measuring up to 2,500 x 1,300 mm. As an option, a twin spindle makes it possible to fit two different milling tools on the processing robot at the same time, with no tool change. Also as an option, the TRC Preclean can prepare top layers and not only raw parquet.
