Description

Accord 500edge is a numerically controlled 5-axis machining centre that also integrates an edge banding function, so that boring, routing and edge application can be carried out on a single machine. The worktable goes up to 6,715 mm in X and 2,250 mm in Y, with a 300 mm Z clearance. The 5-axis spindle develops up to 17 kW and the 3/4-axis spindle up to 21 kW, at 24,000 rpm. Speed reaches 90 m/min in Pro-Speed. The tool magazines (TRB, Caddy, Veloce) are completed by edge magazines that can take up to 5 coils. The machine is aimed at furniture makers who want to condense several production stages onto a single centre, gaining in logistics and in the finishing quality of the edges.
