Description

The Olimpic 500 Plus is an automatic edge banding machine designed to machine panels in a wide range of sectors, with a good level of productivity and quality. Versatile, it is aimed above all at medium-sized companies and accepts different types of gluing, EVA and PUR glues as well as hot-air technology. The SGP glue pot gives an even glue line with simple, fast glue changes. The machine handles narrow panels down to 60 mm wide and applies solid wood edges up to 12 mm thick; the standard edge thickness ranges from 0.3 to 8 mm, for panels from 8 to 60 mm and a feed speed of 12 to 18 m/min. It produces two true radii with the full set of finishing units, including the twin-motor corner rounding unit, and handles panel return via the Fastback 21 and 25 devices. Control is from a touchscreen with the Maestro Active Edge software.
