Description
The K 740 S X-Motion PCS brings two assets together on the same Felder sliding table saw: X-Motion positioning electronics and the PCS (Preventive Contact System) safety system, which stops the blade on contact with skin. It takes blades up to 400 mm in diameter for a cutting height of 140 mm, with a sliding table offering a cutting length of 2,500 mm. Electronic positioning of the blade height and tilt speeds up changes of machining and makes repeatability reliable. The X-Roll guidance of the sliding table guarantees accurate travel over time, and the scoring unit provides a clean cut in veneered panels. This configuration is aimed at workshops that want to combine productivity, setting accuracy and reinforced operator safety on a station in daily demand.
