Description
The Kappa 590 X-Motion is the top-of-the-range Format4 sliding table saw, built around a double-tilting blade unit of +/- 46° offering a total swivel range of 92°. With blades up to 550 mm in diameter, it reaches a cutting height of 202 mm, which makes inside mitre cuts and jack rafters easier. The synchronous motor with continuous speed from 2,000 to 5,000 rpm provides high and steady torque. The aluminium sliding table runs on X-Roll guidance, guaranteed for 10 years, for lasting accuracy and smoothness. All the axes are driven from the Smartouch touch screen, with cutting programs, a USB interface and a network connection. On the X-Motion version, electronic positioning of the blade height and tilt is available as an option.
