Description

The Format4 profil 45 M x-motion tilting spindle moulder takes the mechanical basis of the profil 45 M and adds the x-motion touch screen control driving the spindle and the moulder fence. On the profil 45 M x-motion, powered positioning brings accurate and repeatable setting, particularly useful for frequent changes of profile. The profil 45 M x-motion keeps the rearward-tilting spindle, the standard Ø 30 mm spindle with a useful height of 140 mm and the 5.5 kW motor as standard, with 7.3 kW or 10 kW as options. The high-speed spindle of the profil 45 M x-motion accepts shank cutters from 6 to 16 mm at 15,000 rpm. This configuration of the profil 45 M x-motion targets workshops that put comfort of control and repeatability of settings first.
