Description

In wood as in plastics, the machining direction and the amount of chip removal influence the result as much as the cutting quality. The HeliCut system was designed as a universal application solution in this area. Its optimized cutting angles produce chip-free edges in climb milling as well as in conventional milling, and the wedge-free knife mounting makes changing cutting elements quick. The reversible carbide knives offer four edges, quadrupling the tool life, while the rounded shapes of the body reduce noise by up to 10 dB(A) compared with solid reversible knives. Three cutting grades are available, in carbide and TDC, for diameters from 30 to 450 mm. The system is used on spindle moulders, through-feed machines, CNC machining centers and joinery production lines.
