Description

An automatic wide belt calibrating sander specially designed for machining cross-laminated timber walls (X-lam / CLT). Fully modular according to the customer's needs, it handles walls reaching 3,700 mm in width and 500 mm in thickness, the dimensions proper to structural elements in timber construction. Its structure and its units are sized for the calibrating and sanding of large-format solid panels, with even stock removal across the whole width. It is aimed at CLT manufacturers and timber builders who have to prepare the surface of their walls before finishing or assembly. The modularity makes it possible to adjust the configuration to the output and the panel formats aimed at.
