SCM Profiset 60 planer-moulder

Description

The Profiset 60 is an automatic planer-moulder with up to six spindles, available in four layouts, with the possibility of profiling equipment on the upper horizontal spindle as an option. It machines finished sections from 25 mm (15 as an option) to 230 mm in width and from 6 to 120 mm in thickness, with spindles turning at 6000 rpm. An inverter sets the feed speed continuously from 5 to 25 m/min, while the system of gears, universal joints and pneumatic pressure on the drive wheels provides optimal traction and a careful finish. Straightening is handled by the shaving cutter on the lower moulding spindle. The Easy Plus control makes the machine easier to run and the T-SET device allows quick and safe tool clamping, without effort for the operator.
