Timber-framing machining centre SCM Oikos X

Description

The Oikos X is a numerically controlled machining centre for producing structural beams and X-lam/CLT walls up to 1250 mm wide. Its symmetrical six-axis working unit performs every operation on all faces of the workpiece without repositioning or turning it over, which reduces the overhang and improves the quality of the finish. It handles sections up to 1250 x 300 mm and lengths from 9 to 19 m, for pieces reaching 4000 kg with manual loading. The power of the main unit ranges from 13 to 25 kW and the blade diameter goes up to 600 mm, with an eighteen-position magazine. The frame is fixed directly to the floor, without foundations, and programming is done with Maestro beam&wall.
