BIGonDRY

BIGonDRY is an Italian manufacturer of wood kilns and wood thermal treatment installations. Founded in 2001, the company is based in Castione di Loria, in the province of Treviso (Veneto, Italy), and has additional offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates). It was born from the association of two generations of the same family (father and son), bringing together their experience in wood drying. It employs around thirty people and states that it has installed its systems in more than fifty countries. BIGonDRY’s core business is the design and construction of custom-made systems for wood drying, steaming and thermal treatment, for both softwood and hardwood. The company claims a “turnkey” approach and “Made in Italy” technology based on automatic cycle control systems. The range covers conventional kilns (from a few cubic meters to more than 250 m³, with an aluminum structure or custom-made), tunnel kilns with trolleys, pre-drying installations, steaming chambers, heat phytosanitary treatment installations (NIMP 15 / ISPM-15 standard), high-temperature thermo-modification kilns and biomass dryers. The installations accept various energy sources (hot water, steam, thermal oil, direct gas burner, fuel oil, electricity, solid-fuel boilers). The company also offers spare parts and remote technical support. BIGonDRY highlights the compliance of its treatment installations with the international phytosanitary standard NIMP 15 (ISPM-15) and emphasizes the energy efficiency of its solutions.
