FP Bois

FP Bois is a French manufacturer of wood products for interior and exterior fitting-out, derived from processing maritime pine from the Landes. The headquarters and the historic unit are located in Mimizan, in the Landes, where a sawmill was founded in 1920 by Antoine Plantier, before his son Félix Plantier created a parquet and panelling manufacturing business in 1953. The company FP Bois was formed in 1996 from the merger of three companies and is still run by the Plantier family. The group now brings together three sites in south-west France, with the subsidiaries Rabopale (Aigrefeuille-d'Aunis) and Beyria Emballages (Ygos-Saint-Saturnin). The company controls several stages of processing, from sawing to finishing by varnishing, with a strong specialisation in decorative panelling since the launch of Verniland in 1974. It mainly works with maritime pine, spruce and Douglas fir. The range covers interior (panelling, parquet, vinyl floor coverings) and exterior (cladding, wood and composite decking), available in several collections including Pure Home and Orkka. FP Bois sources FSC- and PEFC-certified wood and claims the Bois de France label for part of its production. The company holds CTB-B+ certification and has developed the patented Pure Home technology, which aims to improve indoor air quality. It is also recognised with an EcoVadis bronze medal.
