Description

cadwork Mesh Editor makes it possible to work on meshes, those three-dimensional objects made up of vertices linked by edges forming flat faces whose combination can describe a very complex geometry. This type of object is found mainly in reverse engineering, in particular from photogrammetry. The module gives control over each of these elements: moving a vertex, deleting a face, modifying the surface locally. It therefore provides a working basis for turning a point cloud into usable surfaces and for reworking geometries obtained from site surveys. An add-on to the 3D modeller, it fits into renovation and listed-building workflows, where the modelling power of cadwork makes it possible to handle complex parts from the basic version onwards.
