cadwork PDF Import module for vectorised PDF files

Description

cadwork PDF Import, an add-on to cadwork Conception, makes it possible to position 3D members by snapping to the exact points of a vectorised PDF file. Its operation is deliberately simple: one or more PDFs are imported, their orientation — horizontal or vertical — and their scale are defined, then the files are automatically imported in 3D, where the points used as snapping references are selected. The benefit lies in the availability of the format: any software able to export DXF, the common exchange format of CAD tools, can also export a vectorised PDF. The PDF also has the advantage of not being editable, which guarantees that the structure is based on the documents actually supplied, with no alteration.
