Double-sided profiling machine for CLT SCM Celaschi XL

Description

The Celaschi XL is a double profiling machine designed specifically for timber construction, able to combine structural strength and advanced technology for high performance in the most demanding conditions. In a single step it performs the fundamental operations of preparing CLT walls — facing, profiling (rebate) and cross cutting — which are essential for a precise, fast assembly on site. Its rigid structure eliminates vibration and its chain conveyor ensures a stable, steady feed. Each side carries four 44 kW electrospindles, which face or profile even the densest components in a single pass; an optional saw blade unit allows cross cutting up to 400 mm thick. It handles panels from 9000 to 18000 mm long, from 2200 to 3600 mm wide and from 50 to 400 mm thick, for three to eight panels an hour, via the Maestro active square software.
