Description
Fusion is a CNC machining centre dedicated to sawing and edge-banding various components from large panels: furniture parts, worktops, shelves, kitchen doors and tables. Where the traditional process calls for a separate cross-cut saw, edgebander and shaping edgebander, Fusion brings all these technologies together in a single centre. A unit with a blade and a scorer, completed by two CNC-controlled spindle moulders, cuts and then edge-bands to obtain finished parts in a single pass. This integration cuts down the footprint, the handling and the transfer times between machines. CNC control ensures repeatability and flexibility, from one-off batches to series production. Fusion is aimed at furniture and fitted furniture manufacturers wanting to bring panel cutting and edge-banding together into a single station.
