HS planing knives for Hydro and jointing LEUCO is part of the LEUCO tool programme for machining wood and panels. Uses foreseen by the manufacturer: use in hydro planing cutterheads. Execution details noted by the manufacturer: cutting material: HS for softwoods, a 30° nose angle for jointing, and a topcoat coating. Benefits stated in use: excellent concentricity from sharpening the knives in the planing cutterhead and the subsequent jointing in the machine. The range comes in 20 versions. Cutting material: high-speed steel (HS). Conditions of use given by LEUCO: for safety reasons, fit only knives of identical weight (packed in 2s, mounted opposite each other).
