SCM Morbidelli CX100 CNC drilling centre

Description

The Morbidelli CX100 is a compact numerically controlled drilling centre that brings drilling, blade cutting and vertical routing together on a single machine. It handles workpieces from 200 x 70 x 10 mm to 3050 x 900 x 60 mm, with speeds of 40 m/min on the X and Y axes. Its drilling unit has twelve vertical chucks and six horizontal chucks, completed by a 5.5 kW HSK 63F electrospindle. Drilling from above places the references on the outer face of the panel and pushes any inaccuracies to the inside of the carcase, while laser reading of the workpiece length corrects deviations for accurate alignment. The machine provides good productivity with no manual adjustment of the table by the operator.
