SCM Stefani MD edgebander

Description

The Stefani MD is an edgebander built around the new SGP (Smart Glue Pot) glue pot and the PU BOX L pre-melter, for a consistent glue line and great versatility in use. Its non-stick pot takes EVA and polyurethane adhesive alike and allows a quick change from one to the other. AirFusion+ technology allows glue-free edging by making the join between edge and panel invisible. The option of having two pre-melters, one for polyurethane adhesive and one for EVA, adds still further to its flexibility. The machine handles panels from 10 to 60 mm thick, raised to 80 mm as an option, with edges from 0.4 to 15 mm, extendable to 22 mm. Its feed speed ranges from 10 to 22 m/min. The multiedge units allow edges with three different radii, for continuous production of varied panels.
