SEMA Tacheometry Surveying Module

Description

This add-on links a theodolite to the SEMA software so that laser measurements go straight into the design. Two uses exist side by side: importing 3D point files produced by the instrument, or taking measurements from within the SEMA program while the operator is on site. Laser surveying thus replaces manual entry of dimensions and does away with copying from a notebook, a classic source of discrepancy between the existing building and the model. The flow also works the other way round: points defined in the SEMA design are sent back to the instrument, which sets them out on site. The module is intended for roofing work, timber and prefabricated construction, digital surveying and refurbishment. It is offered as an option on all four SEMA packages: Roof Structure, Timber Construction, Prefabrication and Roofing - Sheet Metal - Facade.
