Description
SWOOD Center is the automation module of the SWOOD suite, integrated into SOLIDWORKS. Connected to an external database, it generates design and production information on a large scale from the order data and options supplied, drawing on parametric capabilities and shape recognition. The 3D models feed, with no re-entry, the cutting lists for panel saw optimisation, the hardware lists intended for purchasing, the raw material bills of materials and the cost data. Workshop documents relating to lacquering, veneering or sanding operations are produced automatically. The programs are exported to the main CNC controllers such as Wood-WOP, BiesseWorks, bSolid, ISO, XILOG, MAESTRO, TPA, F4Integrate and NC HOPS, and the documents in many formats (XLS, PDF, CSV, HTML, XML, TXT) so that they can talk to ERP, MRP and MES systems.
