EcoPro HW tool bodies (straight) LEUCO, MAN equip machining centres, double-end tenoners and moulders. Applications intended by the manufacturer: profiling solid wood and wood-based materials. Design details given by the manufacturer: aluminium alloy tool body, straight cut without shear cut, cutting material: HW HL Board 06 for hardwoods and wood-based materials, and cutting material: HW HL Solid 60 for softwoods. Benefits claimed in use: tool body and indexable inserts profiled on request. The article group brings together 9 versions: outside diameter from 125 to 180 mm, bore of 30 mm, cutting width from 30 to 50 mm and number of teeth from 3 to 4. Cutting material: carbide (HW). Conditions of use specified by LEUCO: inserts can be profiled to the customer’s wishes, the tool body can be used for one profile only, and direction of rotation to VDMA 8849.
