Description

HW insert cutters for door locks, door production are intended for CNC machining centres. They are used for milling lock mortises and recessing hinges. What the LEUCO design provides: positive helix, a very strong body (in heavy steel), with brazed HW drilling cut, and fitted with two indexable inserts with chip breaker, one of form A and one of form B. What the manufacturer highlights: optimal chip clearance thanks to the positive helix, vibration-free rotation thanks to the chip breakers, and an indexable insert design that maintains a constant diameter. This range covers 3 versions: outside diameter from 16 to 18 mm, shank from 16 to 20 mm, overall length of 170 mm and 2 teeth. Cutting material: carbide (HW). Notes on use: clamping: ps-System with reduction sleeve class no. 933280, TRIBOS, collet chuck, and for mounting in the horizontal drilling unit (Homag, Weeke), which must have a clamping flat (see Technical Information).
