Description
HW segments for segmented hoggers LEUCO, Hoggers are part of the LEUCO tool programme for machining wood and panels. Applications intended by the manufacturer: the complete hogging of offcuts in wood-based materials. Design details given by the manufacturer: the first tooth is in diamond and the following ones in carbide, the flank of the first tooth of the segment is bevelled at 10 degrees, and with axial angle. Benefits claimed in use: no exit chipping when ripping. The article group brings together 2 versions. Cutting material: polycrystalline diamond (DP) and carbide (HW). Conditions of use specified by LEUCO: for offcut widths up to 18 mm, ready for mounting on DP segmented hoggers Ø 200 mm and Ø 250 mm, and segments to be mounted only as a set; one set consists of 4 segments for Ø 200 mm / 6 segments for Ø 250 mm.
