Cathild Industrie

Cathild Industrie is a French manufacturer of wood kilns and heat-treatment installations. Based in Mansigne9, in the Sarthe department (Pays de la Loire), the company has been registered since 1991 and today claims more than forty years of experience in wood drying. It has a presence in Canada, in Victoriaville (Quebec), and relies on a network of subsidiaries and representatives covering North America, Europe and Africa. The company's core business is the design, manufacture and installation of wood-drying equipment, from conventional medium- and high-temperature drying to phytosanitary treatment. It presents itself as a pioneer in conventional drying and highlights several patented innovations, including its movable chamber. The range includes different types of kilns: conventional kilns, mobile kilns, dual-ventilation kilns, large-capacity low-temperature kilns, pre-dryers and steam chambers, as well as drying installations with heat transfer by humid gases. Cathild Industrie also offers energy recovery units, connected computerized control systems, and comprehensive support, from the study phase to after-sales service. Its equipment processes both construction timber and pallets. Its heat-treatment installations comply with the ISPM 15 phytosanitary standard, and several of its processes aim to optimize energy consumption, notably through heat recovery.
