SGM Industry

SGM Industry is a French manufacturer of machinery for the primary processing of wood. Based in Belin-Béliet, in the Gironde (Nouvelle-Aquitaine region), the company was set up in 2013 by experienced managers from SEGEM, whose expertise in sawmill equipment it carries forward. It employs around twenty people and serves professional customers in France and abroad. SGM Industry masters the entire lifecycle of its equipment: design, manufacturing, installation, after-sales service and spare-parts supply. Its core business focuses on preparing logs ahead of primary processing, with recognized expertise in debarkers and the layout of log yards. The range covers fixed-rotor debarkers (models SE450S, SE650S and SE800S, fitted with debarking arms with interchangeable carbide tools) and floating-rotor debarkers for larger-diameter logs. It also includes butt reducers, cross-cut saws, wood chippers, as well as the study and complete installation of log yards and lines for recovering wood by-products. The company takes part in the Plantons pour l'Avenir program, an endowment fund dedicated to reforestation, reflecting a commitment to the forest resource. It does not report any product or system certification (CE, ISO).
