Larch cladding: a durable, attractive wood for your facade

Larch cladding is an exterior wood covering with many benefits. It comes from larch, a softwood that grows in the mountainous regions of Europe and Asia. Larch is characterised by slow growth, high density (around 600 kg/m³) and good natural durability. Its heartwood resists weathering, insects and fungi well without chemical treatment.

Larch cladding also stands out for its warm, authentic look. Its colour ranges from orange-blond to reddish-brown, depending on its origin and sun exposure. Its tight grain gives it a fine, elegant texture. Over time, larch cladding turns grey, giving it a rustic charm.

Benefits of larch cladding

Larch cladding offers many benefits for your facade:

It protects your home from the elements, such as wind, rain, snow and sun.
As part of a ventilated facade, it helps protect your home from cold, noise and moisture by creating an air gap between the wall and the cladding.
It enhances your home with its natural, warm look, which suits all architectural styles.
It adds value to your home with a high-quality, durable material that needs no special maintenance.

Aged larch cladding? Open-joint? Horizontal or vertical?

Larch cladding can be left in its natural colour or pre-aged for a more traditional, authentic look.

Larch cladding is also available as open-joint boards and can be installed vertically or horizontally.
