Timber-framing machining centre SCM Oikos XS

Description

The Oikos XS is a numerically controlled machining centre for producing structural components in solid timber and glulam, suited to the simple pieces of prefabricated walls as well as to more complex roof structures. It is configured with several working units, including the Flex-5 and Revolver units, both with five axes, which cover the six faces of the workpiece. The feed speed reaches 3 m/s and the tool magazine of the Flex-5 brings great flexibility. The machine comes in 450 and 650 versions, handling sections up to 650 x 310 mm and lengths of up to 16 m, for an automatic loading weight reaching 1500 kg. It is programmed with the Maestro beam&wall software and the Maestro active beam&wall interface, usable from a workstation or directly on the machine.
