Description

This narrow Wintersteiger band saw blade is intended for use in sawmills, with blade widths available from 27 to 55 mm. This format suits resaw band saws and resawing work where a controlled kerf and a good cut finish are required. The Select grade uses high-strength German stainless steel with a band hardness of 41 to 43 HRC, a balance designed to offer good value for money without sacrificing consistency. The blade handles softwoods as well as hardwoods, right up to the hardest species found in sawmills. Designed for sustained use, it gives operations a reliable and economical solution, suited to the daily output rates of sawing.
